This is really a great start. Unlike other Salomon products need to be broken in. I'm giving them 4 stars because I don't like the tread on them. do not touch the well in slippery conditions. What I like is that they wick away moisture very well. I wore them during a thunderstorm for about 5 miles. There was no chance to keep them dry. I haven't had a single bubble.
